This is the one to eat. Miyatadake Set Meal

The restaurant at the roadside station is run by a popular soba restaurant in Amakusa City called "Lingzuya. The owner is actually a graduate of Miyajidake Elementary School, which was closed down. He has a strong feeling for his old school. In addition to the soba that Lingzhu-ya prides itself on, the restaurant also offers an original dish for the roadside station, the "Miyatte-dake Set Meal". It includes "Daikon Daio-meshi" (rice mixed with dried radish and Amakusa Daio), "Sobagaki Dago Jiru" (buckwheat dumpling soup), "Haya-bushi Karaage" (fried fish cake with mackerel bones), and chilled tofu from a local tofu store. The set meal is packed with the flavors of Amakusa. 1,000 yen (tax included)

Miyajidake Scarecrow Festival
If you want to have fun in the area

This is a district festival that began in 2014 (Heisei 26). Held annually from late March to mid-May, scarecrows made by local residents line the area around the roadside station. The theme changes each time, and the scarecrows are displayed to entertain visitors. The number of scarecrows is increasing each year, and although the 2020 festival was cancelled due to Corona, the 2021 festival will be held from March 21 to May 14 to coincide with the opening of the roadside station.
