Fukuoka Kanmon Kaikyo Fireworks Display 2025

Collaboration with the night view of the Kanmon Straits

This is one of the largest fireworks displays in Japan, with approximately 18,000 fireworks shot off from both sides of the Kanmon Straits. The fireworks are spectacular, including a series of 40 powerful one-shaku dama, and underwater fireworks that shake the surface of the sea.

Fireworks display with a long history and full of flavor

This fireworks display has a history of more than 370 years, dating back to the celebration of the completion of Suitengu Shrine in 1650. The fireworks reflected on the surface of the Chikugo River are fantastic, and can be enjoyed from different angles from six different viewing sites.

Spectacular scale and beautiful production

A fireworks display on a grand scale is held on the banks of the Oita River. This year's event is more powerful than last year with approximately 8,000 shots, and the colorful fireworks shot off to music are well worth seeing.

Kumamoto Amakusa Hondo Fireworks Festival

The night sky is filled with a huge, spectacular fireworks display!

The festival is part of the "Amakusa Hondo Haya Festival," which carries on the "Ushibuka Haya-bushi" sung mainly in Kumamoto. The 1.5 shaku (1.5 meter) ball, 400 meters in diameter, beautifully colors the night sky and the surface of the sea in Amakusa.

Fireworks makers from all over the country compete their skills.

Fireworks contest where pyrotechnicians from all over the country gather to compete in displaying their skills. In addition to new and elaborate fireworks, this year's event will also feature a drone show and other commemorative events.

Co-starring with Akita "Omagari Fireworks" celebrating the 100th anniversary of the city government

This is a well-loved local fireworks festival. About 10,000 fireworks of various variations color the night sky along the banks of the Oyodo River. The finale, "Niagara Falls," is a fireworks display of overwhelming scale.

Sakurajima, an active volcano, and fireworks

One of the largest fireworks displays in Kyushu is held with Sakurajima, one of the world's most active volcanoes, and the calm waters of Kinko Bay in the background.
About 15,000 fireworks will color the night sky, including creative fireworks, a starmine, a series of 1-large fireworks, and simultaneous launches of 2-large fireworks.
