Let's play in the forest! is the theme of Forest Adventure, an adventure experience facility that brings people and nature together by making the most of the forest and nature as it is. Forest Adventure is an adventure experience facility that brings people and nature together by making the most of the pristine forest and nature. With its origins in France, the number of facilities in Japan is increasing.
Currently, there are 12 locations in Kyushu. 2010 saw the opening of "Yoshinogari," one of the largest in Japan, and in July 2025, a new "Net Course" was added. This made it the first "complete body" course in Forest Adventure where all courses can be experienced.
Let's play without harnesses in the giant net of the forest.
The "Net Course" (2,000 yen), a new addition to the Yoshinogari area, is a course where participants can play without safety gear (harnesses) inside a net stretched about 8 meters above the trees. Participants must be at least 90 centimeters tall and weigh no more than 100 kg. Participants can jump on the net, lie down, and play in the trees as they please. Preschool children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 years of age or older, and at least two preschool children must be accompanied by an adult. Enjoy 60 minutes of unlimited play in the designated net course area. Flat fee for adults and children.
Yoshinogari also has the only "Kids Course" in western Japan!
There are 46 Forest Adventure locations in Japan (as of July 2025), with 23 in western Japan, half of which are in Yoshinogari. Yoshinogari is the first in the western Japan area to offer a "Kids Course" (1,700 yen). As with the "Net Course," anyone 90 centimeters tall or taller can play. The accompanying adults must be at least 18 years old. Visitors can play as long as they like on the 1- to 2-meter-high adventure playground equipment. The kids can play as much as they like on the adventure equipment, which is 1 to 2 meters high, and there is also a mountain-shaped zip slide exclusively for kids to fully enjoy the experience in the forest. During the summer vacation, families can enjoy forest play together in the "Kids Course" and the new "Net Course!
Challenging high difficulty course! Zip-slide to top it all off!
The charm of "Forest Adventure" is that even adults can be innocent in the forest. Among them, the "Adventure Course" offers high-level tree-top play. Visitors play at a point 13 meters above the tree line, taking advantage of the differences in elevation and characteristics of the forest.
Of course, not only adults, but also those who are accompanied by a parent or guardian can experience this course as long as they are in 4th grade or older, or 140 centimeters tall or taller. There are two plans: the "Standard Plan" (4,000 yen) and the "Excite Plan" (5,800 yen), which includes five additional activities to increase the difficulty level of the course. The "Excite Plan" includes the popular "Tarzan Swing" and the "Minomushi Chute," a vertical drop from the top of a tree. Recommended for beginners where parents and children can enjoy playing together.
Can't take the "Adventure Course" right off the bat? Don't worry, the "Canopy Course" (3,000 yen), with its reduced height and difficulty level, is a great way to enjoy your first Forest Adventure experience. Visitors 110 centimeters tall or taller and up to second grade elementary school students must be accompanied by a parent or an adult with equivalent qualifications. The finish will be decided by the "Zip Slide". The ride takes about one hour. Adults and children pay a flat fee.
The biggest highlight of the Yoshinogari facility! Be a bird in a great glide 40 meters above the ground!
Forest Adventure in Yoshinogari is surrounded by the mountains of Higashisefuri. The biggest adventure here is the "Zip Trip Course" (2,500 yen), one of the largest in Japan. Visitors can experience all three zip-slides on the grounds. The zip slide, 40 meters above the ground and 270 meters long, is a great glide! You will feel like a bird flying in the mountains! Visitors under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or an adult over 18 years old with equivalent qualifications. The tour takes about 40 minutes. Flat rate for adults and children.

Ride a bike through the forest! Don't miss the trail course!
Trail Adventure Yoshinogari, an auxiliary facility, allows visitors to ride mountain bikes through the forests of Higashisefuri. A full-time instructor provides safety training, and visitors can choose from four courses according to difficulty level. Reservations can be made for a combination plan (3,000 yen per hour) with any of the Forest Adventure courses; in this case, please apply when making your Forest Adventure reservation.
