The famous chanpon is also not to be missed!
A small roadside station located at Suzuda Pass on the border between the cities of Omura and Isahaya. It mainly serves as a rest stop and tourist information center. It does not have a product center, but provides tourist information on Omura and the entire Nagasaki Prefecture. It also has a snack corner where visitors can enjoy "Omuran Champon", udon noodles, and sweets. Also, right next door is the "Kodawari Ichiba," a direct sales shop for agricultural products operated by "Suzudatoge Noen," and the "Wild Bird Forest Restaurant," a buffet restaurant, where you can shop or take a meal break. The station and the private direct sales shop coexist and prosper together.

Ruins of Kujima (Omura) Castle
If you want to have fun in the area

Kushima Castle was built by the first feudal lord, Yoshiaki Omura, and remained his residence until the end of the Edo period, when the second feudal lord, Sumiyori Omura, undertook major renovations. The stonewalls from those days still remain, and Omura Shrine, which enshrines successive feudal lords, is located on the site of the main castle. The entire area is maintained as Omura Park, where cherry trees, including the Omura cherry, a national natural treasure, are in full bloom in spring, and irises are beautifully in bloom in early summer.
