Bungee Japan Itsuki Bungee
Bungy from the roadside station on a short walk Dive from a height of 66 meters into a mountain stream
Bungee jump 66 meters down from the Koyae Bridge, a one-minute drive or five-minute walk from the roadside station! It is operated by Standard Move Corporation, the only company in Japan with bridge bungee jumping technology. The company operates eight locations throughout Japan, and Gokimura is the only one in Kyushu. They say bungee jumping is a chance to face your fears and realize your courage and potential. Even if your legs are shaky and you are trembling, jump when you are ready! The moment comes when your fear turns into exhilaration. GoPro rentals and data are included in the price, and videos of the moment can be posted on social networking sites. (Open mainly in summer)
A large ginkgo tree, 35 meters tall, with a root girth of about 14 meters, and said to be over 500 years old, stands in the precincts of Shakado Hall in Miyazono. It is so large that nine adults must hold hands to reach it. A ginkgo festival is held in November when the ginkgo leaves turn yellow, and the temple is illuminated at night. There is also a legend that says, "If you take a leaf from this ginkgo tree home, you will live 10 years longer," and many people take a ginkgo leaf home with them. In the Shakado Hall near the ginkgo tree, a statue of Amitabha Nyorai built in 1649 is enshrined, and in the precincts of the temple are the graves of the Kuroki family, one of the 33 masters of the temple. The temple is designated as a natural monument by Kumamoto Prefecture.
The sound of the waterfall roaring in the broadleaf forest Powerful Otoko-taki Waterfall with a drop of 80 meters
Gokasho, adjacent to Itsuki Village, is also home to the legend of the fallen Heike warriors. It is the collective name for the five villages of Shiihara, Nitao, Momiki, Haki, and Kureko. Surrounded by the spine of Kyushu, the unexplored region was ideal for escaping from the pursuit of the Genji clan. Gojaso is still full of unspoiled natural beauty. If you follow Prefectural Route 52 along the Sasagoe River, you will reach the Genjidan Todoroki Waterfall Observatory. Selected as one of the 100 best waterfalls in Japan, the 3.4-meter-wide waterfall falls in an unobstructed 80-meter drop from the top of the rock to the waterfall basin. It is a so-called "direct fall," masculine and very powerful. The name of the waterfall comes from the presence of sandalwood trees near the waterfall in the old days. A suspension bridge takes you right in front of the 8-meter-diameter waterfall basin.

A spectacular view of one of Japan's most unexplored regions, redolent of the village of the Heike Rakunin
From late October to late November, the Gojaso area is usually covered with maple trees, maples, beeches, and dodan-tsutsuji (azalea) that color the mountains. The Umenoki Todoroki Park Suspension Bridge, which leads to the Umenoki Todoroki Waterfall, is 116 meters long and 55 meters high. With no supporting ropes or pillars, the bridge reflects the seasonal beauty of the valley and is especially spectacular in the autumn foliage. Cross the suspension bridge and continue on the trail to Ume-no-Ki Todoroki Falls, which has a drop of 38 meters. The name comes from the fact that a flying plum tree planted in honor of Sugawara Michizane was dropped into the waterfall on its way to the spring. Below the waterfall, there are also the Nobori-no-Taki Falls and the Ume-ga-eda Falls. It takes about 40 minutes from the roadside station on Route 445.

A bridge between a father and his son who seem to be getting along well with each other. A suspension bridge that is actually a thrill to cross.
At the junction of National Route 445 and Prefectural Route 159, turn off onto the prefectural road to Momiki Suspension Bridge Observation Station in Momiki District. The two suspension bridges over the Kawabe River, named Ayatori Bridge (72m long) and Shakunage Bridge (59m long), are a beautiful sight in the valley as a father-and-son bridge. The two bridges, named "Ayatori-bashi" (Ayatori Bridge) and "Shakunage-bashi" (Shakunage Bridge), are 72 m long and 59 m long, respectively, and are a beautiful sight in the valley. The "Ayatori Bridge" was built in 1988, and the "Shakunage Bridge" the following year, both made of thick wire ropes and local cedar and chestnut trees. The bridge is a highlight of the autumn foliage season, which begins in late October, when the spectacular beauty of the valley can be seen from the bridge.

All things are impermanent, the prosperous inevitably decay... The history of the fallen Heike clan is now being brought to life.
Located near Momiki Suspension Bridge, this is a themed facility that tells the legend of the fallen Heike warriors. The museum and Noh stage are located in a building resembling Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima Island, which is associated with the Heike clan. The museum exhibits valuable artifacts, mainly items related to the Heike Rakunin, which have been handed down in Gokezou. The museum introduces the history and lifestyles of the fallen warriors of the time. On the Noh stage, Momigi-Kagura, a traditional local form of Shinto music and dance, is performed during the autumn foliage season, as well as Biwa (Japanese lute) and Shirabeiko (a traditional Japanese instrument) performances. There is also a thatched-roof restaurant where visitors can enjoy wild vegetable dishes and handmade soba noodles.
