Roadside Station Innai Gourmet Information
Yuzu, a local specialty

Innai-cho, Usa City, boasts the nation's largest production of yuzu. However, yuzu trees have large thorns, making harvesting dangerous. It also takes time to grow them until they are ready for shipment, as the saying goes, "It takes three years for a peach and a chestnut, eight years for a persimmon, and 18 years for a yuzu to be a big fool. Kushino Farm, which is the station's main product, is an Oita Prefecture Eco-Farmer certified farm, and the yuzu they grow is pesticide-free. They are proud of the quality of their products and the high quality of their processed products. The station offers a wide range of excellent products, which can be said to be the result of the yuzu's great stupidity.
The best place to eat fried chicken

It is a popular takeout item along with yuzu soft serve. Not only is it freshly fried and hot, but the fluffy, tender, juicy chicken meat is irresistible! The chicken is freshly harvested in the morning, and the seasoning sauce is made with the least amount of garlic to minimize the garlic smell. This popular product is handmade by employees. 80g 200 yen (tax included)

Ryuam Temple
If you want to have fun in the area

This ancient temple, which is said to have been founded by Gyoki in 746, is a good place to stop by on your way to the Ishibashi tour. The Okuno-in Reido and the white wooden statues of the three deities that sit there are the only surviving wooden structures from the Kamakura period in the prefecture, and both are nationally important cultural properties. The three statues of Fudo Myoo, Amida Nyorai, and Yakushi Nyorai, all in the late Heian period style, are said to have been built by Gyoki in one night from a single large camphor tree. The "kizahashi" (log ladder) under the floor of the hall of worship is found only here and at Ise Jingu Shrine.
