In addition, a special "Chikuho Horumon" corner has been set up in the product center. Visitors can taste Tagawa Horumon, the soul food of Tagawa children, at home. The best place to eat: Coal Curry.

This is an original dish from Meat Studio Tagiri, which is run by a meat company. A special sausage kneaded with bamboo charcoal peeks out from the pitch-black roux. This is said to represent coal. The fried egg represents the moon in the Tankobushi (Japanese folk song), which means "the moon is out. The roux is smooth and medium-spicy, without the rough texture of bamboo charcoal. 750 yen.

Let's eat charcoal soft serve ice cream!

Also sold by Bunny's, a snack store in the food court. Chocolate soft serve is kneaded with bamboo charcoal to create a shiny black color. A mix with vanilla is also available. This coal soft serve ice cream is also sold at Michi-no-Eki Kaharu and Michi-no-Eki Oto Sakura Kaido. 300 yen.

Buy this Chirole Chocolate Curry

The Matsuo Confectionery headquarters factory of Tyrol Chocolates is located near the station. In fact, Matsuo Seika was also born out of the food culture of the coal mines in search of sweetness. Now that it is a nationwide company, some people seem to mistake it for a Tokyo-based company. Matsuo Seika is now making a retort curry using its own chocolate products. Surprising, isn't it?
