The best way to eat Miyazaki Beef Hamburger Demi-glace Gozen

The restaurant "Kitchen Granma" has also undergone a complete renovation, including a new menu. The menu has been upgraded and renewed while maintaining the same emphasis on meat dishes, as the restaurant is located in "Japan's No. 1 meat town. In addition to Miyazaki beef yakiniku, the restaurant also offers "Japan's best beef, pork, and chicken all in one dish," and a "Miyakonojo Yakiniku Sammai Boat Platter! Miyakonojo Yakiniku Sammai Funazari Gozen," which offers not only Miyazaki beef yakiniku but also beef, pork, and chicken all at once, and other attractive lineups. Of course, the hamburger steak is also 100% Miyazaki beef. It is served in a hot bowl and topped with a generous amount of demi-glace sauce. One bite of the hamburger shows that the meat has been carefully kneaded until it has the right consistency. The flavor of the juicy meat is concentrated and the taste of the meat spreads in your mouth like an abomination. The set includes salad from the salad bar, rice, miso soup, and pickles for 1,500 yen (tax included). Japanese sauce and tomato sauce are also available.
Buy this Premium Menchi-and-35-Cutlet Sandwich

At PicNiq, a meat café located alongside the "meat corner" at the back of the direct sales counter, you can buy delicious meat dishes that only Miyakonojo, the city of meat, can offer. More than 100 kinds of boxed lunches and side dishes are available for eat-in or take-out. One of the most recommended items is the "Premium Menchi" (390 yen per piece), made from 100% Miyazaki beef produced in Miyakonojo. It is one of the products of the "Miyakonojo Menchi" project, which is a food-related regional revitalization project of Miyakonojo City. It is truly extravagant to use high-grade Wagyu Miyazaki beef in menchikatsu.
Another recommendation is the "35 pork cutlet sandwich" (880 yen per box). The pork cutlet is made from 35mm-thick brand pork, cooked at a low temperature to make it tender. The cutlet is tender, moist, and full of meaty flavor. In any case, this is an exquisite sandwich from a town where the meat is so good that it is almost loathsome.
Miyazaki Michi-no-Eki: Limited edition products from the station are a useful permanent fixture on the dining table!

Products to be served with rice are popular nationwide. Recently, sauce made from local brand beef and served over rice has been prominent. One such product is "Miyazaki Beef Rice Sauce," jointly developed by roadside stations in Miyazaki Prefecture. The main point of this product is that it uses Miyazaki beef, which has won three consecutive championships at the National Wagyu Beef Aptitude Promotion Contest, the "Olympics" of wagyu.
Just to be called "Miyazaki Beef" is a strict requirement, and the price is usually quite reasonable. This dish is made with minced Miyazaki beef and sweet and spicy miso paste, green onions, sesame, ginger, and chili peppers. First, it is served on top of freshly cooked rice as an accompaniment to rice. Yes, it's good! Next, put it on top of chilled tofu. It goes well with it! It is also good as a snack with sake! You can use it as a topping for daikon salad, pasta, stir-fried vegetables, and fried rice. This is what you should have on your dinner table.

Higashi Kirishima Shrine
If you want to have fun in the area

This ancient shrine is said to have been founded during the reign of the fifth Emperor Koaki, at the foot of the Kirishima mountain range, where the myth of the descent of the grandchildren is told. This shrine is said to be the Kirishima Shrine that appears in the Engishiki, and is one of the six Kirishima shrines. At the entrance to the shrine grounds, there is a sacred stone said to have been formed by the tears of Izanagi no Mikoto, who lost his wife Izanami no Mikoto, and the stone steps leading to the main shrine are said to have been built by a demon in one night with 999 stones. The stone steps leading up to the main shrine are said to have been piled up by demons in one night. It is also said that if you climb the slope without turning around and chanting a wish, your wish will come true.
