ET Pumpkin, a local product

When you hear the name, you might think, "ET is that 'ET'?" You might think, "Is ET that 'ET'? In fact, there is a theory that this is the case. Some people believe that the name "ET" is an acronym for the Tochigi branch of the Japanese Institute of Horticultural Science, commonly known as the "Sonoken. It is covered with a strong black outer skin, and its buttocks are squished. The cross section is therefore almost heart-shaped. The texture is moist and smooth with a high sweetness. Tempura, deep-frying, and steaming are recommended to enjoy its texture. It is also suitable as a dessert ingredient. It is also highly valued for baby food.

Maple schoolhouse and big desks & chairs

Maple schoolhouse and big desks & chairs

Momiji Gakusha is an exchange facility that utilizes the former Kamikawasoko Elementary School, which was closed in 1997, and is a one-story wooden school building built in 1955. The café's food is prepared in the lunchroom and served in the principal's office and reception room. Live music is sometimes performed in the auditorium. The most popular attraction are the huge wooden chairs and desks placed in the schoolyard. They are so large that you can look up at them, just like Gulliver's chair and desk. The chairs can be climbed up, and the view from there is exhilarating.
