Spring is the time to seek bamboo shoots
Autumn is the season for kiwis.
The free "Takezumi no Shizuku" (bamboo charcoal drop), located in a corner of the site, is high-quality well water that is filtered through bamboo charcoal. Along with a footbath using this water, it is an oasis space at the station for those in the know. In spring, bamboo shoots picked in the morning are available for purchase and are boiled in a cauldron set up in front of the product center. Newly harvested Yamecha tea, strawberries, and wild vegetables such as kogomi and hachiku are also available. A food court will open in July 2020. The popular "Shu Burger" has also been moved to the food court and has become more powerful.

Roadside Station Tachibana Gourmet Information
This is the one to eat! HIDE Burger

HIDE", a hamburger and hamburger store located in the "Shochiku-bai" food court, is run by a local steak and hamburger store. The "HIDE Burger" has been sold at the station's takeout store since 2010 and is a long-selling item. A hamburger made of 100% Japanese minced meat is placed in a soft and fluffy bun with just the right amount of elasticity. The meat has a strong flavor and speaks of the quality that only a meat restaurant can offer. The meat is covered with demi-glace sauce, and the cabbage with tomato dressing and tartar sauce. What a luxurious taste. This is the power that has made it a favorite for many years! 480 yen (tax included). Other burgers available: cheeseburger, special, big double, etc. Closed on Wednesdays.
Bamboo shoots, a local specialty

Bamboo shoots are bamboo shoots, but the bamboo shoots from Tachibana-cho are soft and have little bitterness. For this reason, locals do not need rice bran, which is necessary when boiling fresh bamboo shoots, to remove the bitter taste. Processed products using these bamboo shoots are vacuum-packed and sold year-round.
Kiwi fruit, a local product

Tachibana Town converted from tangerine cultivation to kiwifruit cultivation early on, and is proud to be the number one producer of kiwifruit in the country. The most common variety is "Hayward," but in recent years, the town has been focusing on growing "Rainbow Red," which is harvested in December. This variety is characterized by the slightly reddish center of the pulp. They are small in size, but have excellent sugar content.
