Sweets using wine and specialty tomatoes are also popular.

The region is home to the internationally acclaimed Tsuno Wine, which was selected as one of the "World's 100 Most Notable Wines" by the prestigious British wine magazine "Wine Report" and won the gold medal at the Japan Wine Challenge, the largest wine judging competition in Asia, for three consecutive years. Blessed with a wide variety of agricultural products such as tomatoes, strawberries, grapes, and pears, the area offers an array of seasonal produce. Eat this Tomato Soft

The Onuzu area, which includes the towns of Miyakono and Kawanami, is a major producer of tomatoes. This soft-serve ice cream is made from a paste of fresh tomatoes grown in Ozuzu and has a refreshing taste. The salty taste of the fried tomatoes topped with a twist of fried tomatoes adds a nice accent. Fresh mini-tomatoes are also added as a topping during the tomato harvest season. 300 yen.

Let's buy some wine langdosha.

These original cookies, available only at the roadside station, are made by adding Campbell's Early Rosé, a representative brand of Tsuno'o wine, to the cream. While skipping the alcohol, the flavor is retained, creating a stylish and luxurious taste. The light, crispy texture and subtle wine flavor make these cookies a perfect snack for adults. The elegant packaging makes these cookies perfect as a thoughtful souvenir.

I'll get this one, too.

Tomatoes are one of the specialties of To-no-machi, which are twinned with grapes. Together with the neighboring town of Kawanami, this area is called the Ozuzu district, and there are many tomato farms in the area, which are known by the name "Ozuzu tomatoes. The "Tomato Twist Fried Tomato" (324 yen), a longtime seller and a strong favorite, is made exclusively at Michi no Eki Tsunotsu, a roadside station that uses tomatoes. The "Pori Pori Pulit Tsuno" (190 yen) is also covered with tomato powder produced in Ozuzu, just like the Twisted Fried Tomatoes, and is so delicious that once you start eating it, you cannot stop.
