The editorial department recommends the "Longest Toast Relay," a Guinness World Record ™︎ challenge organized to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture, in November. The date of the event is Saturday, November 22, 2025.
They are aiming to reach their goal of 2,000 participants and are also calling for the spread of information to ensure the success of this project.
Located almost in the center of Fukuoka Prefecture, Asakura City is a place of abundant water and nature, known for its triple waterwheel. Harazuru Onsen, known as a hot spring for beautiful skin, is located near the Chikugo River, a first-class river that flows through Fukuoka Prefecture, and the city is also famous for cormorant fishing on the Chikugo River, an intangible cultural asset designated by the city. In conjunction with the eventIt is a great opportunity to enjoy sightseeing such as the Harazuru Hot Springs.

Asakura City will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its merger next year on March 20, 2026, and they have decided to hold the "Longest Toast Relay" to celebrate the anniversary together.
Kachin! KANPAI! and toast with beer and juice in a relay style. The organizer of the event, the Akakura Tourist Association, is also making efforts to promote the event through SNS in order to make it a success and enliven the town.

This popular curry lavishly uses "Kosho chicken," a brand of chicken originating in Asakura.
And what a surprise! A year's supply of beer will be raffled off to win a year's supply of beer.

Participants: 5th grade elementary school students and above, in principle, accompanied by their parents or guardians.
Time: 5 time slots, each with a capacity of 400 applicants
- A 8:30 a.m. gathering Challenge time 9:00-9:40 a.m. (Registration starts at 8:00 a.m., capacity 400 people)
- B 9:00 a.m. gathering Challenge time 9:40-10:20 a.m. (Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., capacity 400 people)
- C 9:40 a.m. gathering Challenge time 10:20-11:00 a.m. (Registration starts at 9:10 a.m., capacity 400 people)
- D 10:20 gathering Challenge time 11:00 - 11:40 (registration starts at 9:50, capacity 400 people))
- E 11:00 gathering Challenge time 11:40-12:20 (Registration starts at 10:30, capacity 400 people)
